Rules of Play
1. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18, who must remain within the building at all times and supervise the child at all times. Little Cobblers does not accept any responsibility for the supervision of children. Parents / guardians must:
- Accept full responsibility to supervise their children at all times
- Observe their children at all times to ensure that they are capable of using the equipment safely
- Explain the rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour
- On arrival ring the bell and contact a member of staff to check your group in
- Children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit the centre for at least 48 hours
- Socks must be worn by children and all accompanying adults at all time throughout the barn-upstairs and downstairs. We cannot allow shoes or bare feet anywhere in the play barn for hygiene reasons.
- No smoking or use of fire within the play centre (with the only exception being birthday candles)
- No climbing on the external play structure, furniture, barriers or netted walls
- Chewing Gum is strictly prohibited
- Any food debris which falls on the floor is picked/wiped up as soon as possible, and report any spillages, accidents or damage to a member of staff immediately
- No food or drink to be consumed in downstairs or outdoor play areas -only upstairs.
- Nappy changing and the use of potties etc. must be conducted in the toilets, and nappies disposed of in the bins provided
- Report all accidents to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance. These will be recorded and will form part of future safety audits.
3. Before entering the play barn, in the interests of Health, Safety & Hygiene, adults must ensure themselves and children they are responsible for:
- Socks must be worn at all times whilst using the play equipment
- Remove all valuables and sharp objects i.e. Jewellery, badges, watches, money, buckles, pens
- Take care when wearing glasses
- Adults must accompany the children to the toilet, ensure they can use the facilities and wash their hands
- Do not climb the slides, or play in front of the slide exits
- Wear appropriate clothing, ideally legs and arms should be covered to minimise the risk of personal injury
- Do not take food or drink on to any of the play equipment/areas at any time
The Little Cobbler’s team are on hand to maximise your children’s enjoyment, they are not however a replacement for parental supervision. Parents/Guardians should note that every consideration has been given to the safety of children using the play centre, therefore if these rules are not adhered to you may be asked to leave the premises.
Information for party bookings:
It is full payment upon booking and it is non refundable we do not reserve or take deposits. If you choose to not use any part of the package we cannot take it off the price. We do not allow outside food or decorations on the premises except cake toppers and balloons for the cake table.
Please ensure you are aware of the choice of foods, cakes and décor available to you before booking. Our packages are set and we do not offer personalized décor, cake or food options other than our existing choices. All attending guests including adults must wear socks and keep food and drink to the upstairs area-please ensure all guests are aware of these rules prior to attending. The party package does not include use of Northern Cobbler Café. Please be advised that for parties booked at short notice we cannot guarantee all options will be available, party orders need to be completed 10 days prior to party date. Please do not arrive earlier than your time slot. A small number of people can come prior to check the room-Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your party start time and limit this to 2 people.
Management reserve the right to refuse admission, and by signing in you are accepting the Rules of Play.
